Your details, handled properly.

This policy explains what personal information FrontEdge collects, why we collect it, and how we look after it. We aim to handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

1. Who we are

FrontEdge (ABN 83 369 759 490) is a web design studio working with businesses across Australia. In this policy, “we” and “us” means FrontEdge. You can contact us about privacy at hello@frontedgestudio.com.au.

2. What we collect

We only collect what we need to reply to you and do the work.

• Details you send us. When you use the project brief form or email us, we collect what you choose to give us: your name, business name, email, phone number, service area, current website, details about your business and project, and the package or care plan you’re interested in.
• Details from working together. If you become a client, we keep the information needed to deliver your website and send invoices, such as billing details and project files you share with us.
• How the website is used. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this website. It collects information such as the pages you visit, how long you stay, the device and browser you use, your approximate location (city or region, not your exact address) and how you found the site. This information does not tell us who you are.

3. How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry, book a call and prepare a quote.
• To design, build, launch and look after your website if you become a client.
• To send invoices and keep business and tax records.
• To understand which parts of the website are useful and improve it.

We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t add you to marketing lists without asking.

4. Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted services to run the business. They only receive what they need to do their job:

• FormSubmit, which delivers the project brief form to our email inbox.
• Google, which provides Google Analytics.
• Our email and website hosting providers, which store our emails and serve this website.

Some of these services store data on servers outside Australia, including in the United States. We also share information if the law requires it.

5. Cookies

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. This website uses cookies only for Google Analytics, to tell visits apart and measure how the site is used. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work. You can also opt out of Google Analytics on all websites with Google’s opt-out browser add-on.

6. Keeping it safe

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. Enquiries are kept in a password-protected email account, and this website is served over a secure (https) connection.

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to respond and follow up. If you become a client, we keep project and billing records for as long as the law requires, including tax record-keeping rules. When we no longer need information, we delete it.

7. Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@frontedgestudio.com.au and we’ll respond within 30 days.

8. Questions and complaints

If you have a question or concern about how we’ve handled your information, email us first and we’ll work to fix it. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
